Corporate Volunteering: strategy, engagement and results

Context

Corporate volunteer programmes are a strategic tool for expanding a company's social impact and strengthening employee engagement and motivation. We've noticed that when properly implemented, these programmes influence organisational culture and employee training, contributing to a broader view of the socio-environmental challenges that impact the company and a focus on solving complex problems.

Case 1: online volunteering

Involving eight of the company's complexes, with Votorantim Cimentos, in 2021, we plan, manage and execute the programme for internal engagement in volunteer activities.

The focus of the actions implemented was on themes aligned with the group's sustainability and private social investment strategy:

  • inclusion and diversity
  • safety and energy.

Results and deliverables

The main deliverable is social due diligence, focusing on internal and external stakeholders in the locality, based on the following processes:

2- Production of Development Guide of professional skills through voluntary work to strengthen employee engagement and measure results.
