Challenge
Companhia Energética de São Paulo (CESP) is an energy generation company focused on hydroelectric power plants, which is particularly important for supplying energy to the city of São Paulo and Brazil in general.
In 2020, the company was starting your strategic sustainability journey. As a first step, it was necessary to explore the topic in greater depth, especially the 2030 Agenda.

Solution
Transforma.aí supported the company in identifying SDG themes that reflect CESP's impacts and influence stakeholder assessments and decisions. Based on this definition, it was possible to integrate the UN's 2030 Agenda into the Company's sustainability agenda, focused on global objectives, through an action plan linked to the company's goals.
The process was based on:
1 - Diagnosis of priority SDGs for CESP
2 - Definition of priority SDGs, design of lines of action for CESP's sustainability and identification of opportunities for the Company's actions
3 - Three-year ESG action plan for implementing actions linked to the SDGs
4 - Internal engagement regarding the plan designed through the formation of a working group that would lead the implementation of the plan
5 - Training on diversity and inclusion for internal leaders, as part of the action plan designed.
Results and deliverables
Clarity of actions and priorities to fulfil the 2030 Agenda in the medium term
